Hot Under The Blue Collar, Part 4

So that article on Forbes started quite a few conversations, none of which I can participate in at the moment.  One of the more vociferous exchanges concerned the likelihood of a skilled tradesperson making six-figures.

I maintain that such an individual, properly trained and armed with a modest amount of ambition and the willingness to travel, has an honest shot at making a six-figure salary. I know for a fact that such a thing is not only possible, but quite common, and I could offer dozens of examples. Others however, remain convinced – many steadfastly – that no one who works with his or her hands is capable of earning that kind of pay.

It’s an extraordinary bias and a particularly vexing myth that persists in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and this very brief video is designed to settle the matter once and for all. (Apologies for the singing. There may have been a frosty beverage in the vicinity.)
