The Bilge Baby
December 1, 2013For a long time now, The Bilge Baby has loomed over my shoulder, observing his surroundings with a bleak and world-weary countenance. He’s been in my possession since we first crossed paths in Florida, while working on a towboat doing salvage off the intercoastal.
I brought him to San Francisco for a new beginning, where he has – quite frankly – failed to assimilate in the way I hoped he would. Petulant, judgmental and undeniably creepy, I believe the time was time for a change of scene.
