Past C.R.A.P

The mikeroweWORKS Foundation is getting interesting. Lots of scholarship applications and lots of positive press. In a modest effort to garner even more attention, Mike announced several months ago he would be selling his C.R.A.P. (Collectibles, Rare And Precious) to raise money for the mikeroweWORKS Foundation. Every episode of C.R.A.P. affords some lucky bidders an opportunity to bid on a cherished piece of memorabilia from Mike’s filthy past – stuff that’s been cluttering up his garage for the last 8 years. C.R.A.P. can be anything – clothing, signed posters, cherished mementos from his days in the dirt. Check out some of his past C.R.A.P. offerings below. We have already raised

The Bilge Baby

December 1, 2013

For a long time now, The Bilge Baby has loomed over my shoulder, observing his surroundings with a bleak and world-weary countenance. He’s been in my possession since we first crossed paths in Florida, while working on a towboat doing salvage off the intercoastal.
I brought him to San Francisco for a new beginning, where he has – quite frankly – failed to assimilate in the way I hoped he would. Petulant, judgmental and undeniably creepy, I believe the time was time for a change of scene.

Glenn Beck Defaces Mike Rowe’s Face Autographed Work Smart AND Hard Poster

November 2013

The C.R.A.P. in question is a “Work Smart AND Hard” poster, thoughtfully signed by Glenn Beck and Mike. The posters were designed to be displayed in high schools in order to stimulate conversation and challenge the moronic assumption that a four-year degree is the only way to get a useful education. We’ve sold thousands, and raised a decent amount for work ethic scholarships along the way. You can have as may as you want for 10 bucks a pop. We also have autographed versions for $100. However, a signature as unique as Glenn’s, along with his unique artistic stylings scratched onto the fleshy palate of Mike’s face wrinkled visage, elevate this particular poster to an unprecedented and highly-collectible status.
